From the main stage to the fireworks, explore photo highlights of an unforgettable celebration in Ottawa
OTTAWA, ON – Tuesday, July 1 – Thousands gathered at LeBreton Flats Park and tuned in across the country to celebrate Canada Day with an unforgettable evening of music, dance, and national pride. Hosted by Isabelle Racicot, the live broadcast aired across CBC, CBC News Network, CBC Gem, CBC Radio, the CBC News YouTube channel and CBC News streaming channels as well as ICI RDI, ICI TÉLÉ and ICI TOU.TV and Radio-Canada.ca, bringing the festivities from coast to coast.

The show opened with a standout performance by TALK, who delivered Run Away to Mars alongside viral dance sensation Enola Bedard. The night continued with powerhouse performances from Cœur de Pirate, Dumas & Ivan Boivin-Flamand, Fredz, Waahli, Josh Ross, Billie du Page, Muzion, Morgan Grace alongside Édith Butler, Aasiva and Sarah McLachlan, with dazzling choreography led by Alex Francoeur and Les Soeurs Bégin.
Jeff Douglas and Kat Levac delivered a moving and witty tribute to Canadian values, while remote performances from Summerside (Blue Rodeo), Yellowknife (Crook the Kid, Brenda Montana), and Vancouver (Dear Rouge) added a truly national flavour. DJ Miss Shelton kept the energy high on-site in Ottawa between sets.
The evening closed with a crowd-pleasing medley of I’ll Always Be There / Je te serai fidèle by Roch Voisine, followed by Let It Rain and Believe In You by Amanda Marshall, Bye Bye mon cowboy by Mitsou, and Life is a Highway by Tom Cochrane.
